About the work

Still images,
set in motion.

Borrowed Light is built from generated photographic keyframes and code-driven 2.5D animation. Camera movement, breathing, weather, light, and shadow give each scene its own rhythm.

An original score follows the film from its first pulse to its quiet ending. Together, image, motion, and sound make a small study of time and connection.
